John Montgomery — PTA President.

Public school service is a Montgomery family tradition; John’s parents were PTA volunteers and officers during his school days and he and his wife Carole have a long history of working to improve their local schools. When their older son, Jack, attended Seven Pines, John served as a PTA Board member and president while Carole led the fundraising committee. Jack has since finished his elementary schooling at Ward Elementary and is a rising sixth grader.

John learned early that service to my community’s schools is a solemn responsibility and he regards representing Varina District on the Henrico County School Board as the best opportunity to fulfill that responsibility
